This is a VERY RARE soft paste porcelain 18th Century English tea bowl hand painted in a chinoiserie blue and white pattern by the Rare Vauxhall factory. I cannot find this exact pattern in any book, it may be unique - but it is guaranteed to be Vauxhall. Bluish tinge to the glaze, it pings perfectly when you flick it, there are two very minor flea nibbles to the rim, please see the photos. I have a few very interesting items 18th Century & early 19th Century items listed this week including a Pinxton dish, probably by Billingsley at Torksey and this very same dish appears in CL Exleys book. The item "VAUXHALL Very Rare English porcelain teabowl c. 1755 blue & white chinoiserie" is in sale since Tuesday, September 24, 2019.
